Following the shutdown of the Corona-Warn-App on May 31, 2023, this website will soon be shut down as well. You will find some of the content of this website on rki.de (German only) from then on.
Since it is no longer possible to warn other users through the Corona-Warn-App regarding an increased risk of infection as of May 1, 2023, you can no longer use the QR codes created on this page or with other tools to register for events and locations. As such, the information on this page is related to features of the app that are no longer available as of May 1, 2023. Create QR code for event check-in
The app allows a check-in for events and locations. People who host events or have a business can create a QR code. By scanning the QR code, guests can check in upon arrival to register their presence. If desired, the app will also create a corresponding journal entry. If a checked-in person later tests positive for the coronavirus, other people who were checked in at the same time can be warned.
You can create QR codes in the app or here on this page. Alternatively, you can also use our official QR code utility to generate several QR codes at once, for example. Click here for a detailed guide on how to use the official QR code utility.
Required field
The CSV file must follow the template as shown here in step 5. To get started use this sample file.
